People have been asking me the burning question, ‘How do you do it? How have you stayed with photography? What keeps you motivated?’
For a long time I could not come up with an answer, but now it couldn’t be any more clear.
Photography has been my mistress, side piece, and all around love affair for almost 10 years. Not matter the circumstances she always found me and I always found her. Whenever I was down in the dumps she had a tantalizing way of bringing out the creative juices in me. Taking me back to a better place and letting go of all the pain.
There were times she was neglected by other priorities, and couldn’t fully commit to her. I was torn when I could get my hands on a camera and explore with her.
Until the beginning of this year I dove head first starting fresh, and committing 100% of my time to her. She brings out the best in me helping release all the stress, worries, and creative desires. Photography is my girlfriend, first love, and wifey till the day I die.
So needless to say my long time love affair with photography has become a serious relationship. We won’t be breaking up any time soon :)
